Best Cabin Crew
May was a festive month for Etihad Airways. The national airline of the United Arab Emirates won several awards. At the Business Traveller Middle East Awards ceremony, which took place at a festive ceremony at The Ritz in Dubai, Etihad Airways won the award for Best Cabin Crew for the fourth consecutive year and also the award for Best Economy Class. The World Travel Awards were also presented last month. In the Middle East Leading Airlines category, Etihad Airways also won the first prize there for Best Cabin Crew.
Hospitality
Etihad picked up more awards, namely first prize for Middle East’s Leading Airline for Customer Experience, where the overall hospitality and travel experience of travellers flying with Etihad was the deciding factor, the award for Best Economy Class and Best Inflight entertainment.
Warm hospitality is the hallmark of Etihad Airways’ passenger experience, which is inspired by the hospitality of the traditional Emirati. The airline is currently recruiting new cabin crew worldwide for its Abu Dhabi team. After a thorough selection process, cabin crew will be trained to the highest standards of safety, service and hospitality.
Brand new terminal
Finally, the Abu Dhabi-based airline won the award for Best First Class Lounge at Zayed International Airport (or Abu Dhabi International Airport). In November 2023, Etihad Airways moved to Terminal A at this brand-new, superdeluxe home of the airline. This is where all Etihad flights arrive and depart. The new terminal is home to a number of premium lounges, including the award-winning First Class Lounge.
