Business travel with ITA Airways now also earns PartnerPlusBenefit points
What is PartnerPlusBenefit?
PartnerPlusBenefit is the Lufthansa Group’s corporate bonus programme for small and medium-sized businesses. Membership is free, and the programme is designed for organisations that travel on business regularly and want their travel volume to work in their favour.
The great advantage is that PartnerPlusBenefit isn’t tied to a single airline. Within the programme, companies can earn points with several participating airlines. With the addition of ITA Airways, the offering becomes even more appealing for businesses that travel frequently to Italy and, via Rome, on to intercontinental destinations.
The company saves, and so does the traveller
PartnerPlusBenefit rewards the company. BenefitPoints are accrued in the corporate account for business trips with ITA Airways and other participating airlines.
At the same time, individual travellers can carry on taking part in Miles & More as usual. This means a single business trip can pay off on two levels:
- the company earns PartnerPlusBenefit BenefitPoints
- the traveller personally earns Miles & More Miles and Points
For companies and frequent business travellers alike, that’s an attractive combination.
Earning and spending BenefitPoints
Saving points is straightforward. Eligible tickets are linked to the PartnerPlusBenefit account, and BenefitPoints for Lufthansa Group and ITA Airways flights are generally credited automatically after the trip. It’s important that you, as a company, pass your contract details on to us as your travel agent, so they can be added to your customer profile.
Accrued BenefitPoints are valid for 36 months and can then be redeemed for various benefits within the programme, including available flight awards and other business travel perks.
More airlines, more possibilities
One key advantage of PartnerPlusBenefit is the wide choice of participating airlines. Companies can have their business travel volume count towards the programme with: Lufthansa, Air Canada, Air China, Air Dolomiti, ANA, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, ITA Airways, SWISS and United Airlines.
With ITA Airways now on board, there are further opportunities towards Italy and, via Rome Fiumicino, ITA Airways’ intercontinental network — think daily connections to Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. That also makes the programme appealing for companies with international travel, including sectors such as marine and offshore travel.
Managing accounts centrally
Does your organisation have several branches or company accounts? It’s possible to merge multiple accounts under one central headquarters account. This can be particularly useful for companies that want to manage their international travel volume centrally and build up and redeem BenefitPoints jointly. The decision to merge accounts naturally remains entirely up to the company.
