Affordable and all-inclusive to New York or Boston with Jetblue
Jetblue is an American airline headquartered in New York. The airline has been in operation for 23 years and flew to over 100 destinations within the US, Canada, and the Caribbean until 2021. About two years ago, they also expanded their operations to Europe, targeting Paris and London. In the summer of 2023, the Netherlands was added to their destinations; since August 2023, Jetblue has been flying daily from Amsterdam to New York JFK, and since September, there has been a daily connection between Amsterdam and Boston.
Jetblue operates flights between the US and the Netherlands using an A321LR aircraft. This is a narrow-body aircraft with only one aisle. These are modern aircraft that are quiet and fuel-efficient. They feature extra-large overhead bins, allowing trolleys to be stored sideways, thus maximizing cabin luggage space.
Putting people first
Jetblue prioritizes people, both passengers and employees alike. For passengers, this means receiving excellent service and personal attention. For employees, Jetblue fosters inclusivity and values diversity. Sustainability is also crucial for the airline, which operates with modern, fuel-efficient aircraft. Meals are served in reusable containers, and efforts are made to minimize waste. Additionally, Jetblue invests in factories producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
Free unlimited wifi for all passengers
Jetblue describes itself not as a low-cost airline, but as a low-fare airline. They offer competitive rates while providing full-service amenities. Everything is included, including unlimited high-speed wifi. Jetblue was the first US airline to introduce wifi on all its flights in 2017. Now, all Jetblue passengers can enjoy 100% unlimited and free high-speed internet on board every aircraft in every class.
Classes
Jetblue offers three classes: Core, Even More Space and Mint.
Core
Core is Jetblue’s Economy Class, which always includes:

Dedicated terminal at JFK

Arrival and transit are thus straightforward and swift. If New York isn’t the final destination, numerous connections are available.
Interesting facts
- All Jetblue aircraft have amusing names. Examples include Bada-Bing, Bada-Blue, Blue Suede Shoes, and The name is Blue, JetBlue.
- The aircraft tails feature various images; for instance, those flying across the ocean from the US to Europe have wave images on their tails.
- Since passengers can customize their meals via their screens, they’ll never be disappointed if their preferred dish is unavailable; for example, if the chicken runs out, it simply won’t appear in the menu choices.
- If you fancy a snack outside the menu, you don’t have to wait for distribution. You’ll find the snack corner at the back of the aircraft, offering sweet and savoury snacks: Wanna snack? Go to the back.
Update on February 8, 2024
Due to the uncertainties surrounding the announced downsizing of Schiphol, it was uncertain for a long time whether Jetblue would receive summer slots for 2024. Jetblue has since officially been informed that they will indeed continue flying between Amsterdam and New York JFK and Boston Logan International next summer.
