What is On Business?
On Business is British Airways’ loyalty program for small and medium-sized businesses. While personal frequent flyer programs reward individual travelers, On Business lets you earn points at the company level. Every flight an employee takes on British Airways, Iberia, Japan Airlines, or American Airlines earns points for the company.
What are the benefits?
You can use the points you’ve earned to book free reward flights or upgrades for your employees. On certain routes from Europe, you can even enjoy an immediate discount on the ticket price while still earning points. You earn points based on your airfare spending: the more you spend, the more points you receive. In addition, the program offers a user-friendly online dashboard for travel reporting and budget management. If you link the BA American Express Accelerating Business Card, you’ll earn points on your business expenses in addition to your airfare points.
Who can participate?
On Business is open to small and medium-sized businesses in most countries, including the Netherlands. You’ll need a VAT number to sign up. If your company already has an existing corporate incentive contract with a partner airline, you cannot participate in On Business.
How do you become a member?
You can sign up at onbusiness.britishairways.com. Enter your company details and VAT number, and register the travelers who fly on behalf of your organization. Then provide us with your contract number so we can add it to your profile. You’ll automatically earn points with every booking. You can manage your points and redeem them for flights or upgrades via the online dashboard. Please note that points expire two full calendar years after the flight date.
