Emirates introduces free, ultra-fast Starlink Wi-Fi on board
From November 23, 2025, Emirates will equip its fleet with free, super high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi.
What can travellers expect?

- Access without registration
- Unlimited streaming, video calls, gaming, and working
- Available on screens in the seat in front of you and on personal devices
- Live TV via Starlink also available in 2026
The rollout is proceeding at record speed: approximately 14 aircraft per month, with the goal of equipping 232 Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft with Starlink by mid-2027. This will give Emirates the world’s largest wide-body fleet with Starlink.
This innovation is part of Emirates’ ambitious retrofit program, which will see the cabins of 60 A380s and 51 Boeing 777s completely renovated with new seats, greater comfort, a focus on better technological facilities, and an improved entertainment program. Currently, 76 fully refurbished aircraft have already been delivered.
Debut A350 at Dubai Airshow 2025
During the recent opening of the Dubai Airshow 2025, Emirates stole the show with a spectacular formation flight. The new Emirates A350 flew alongside the Boeing 777 and the iconic A380 for the first time. A total of around 60 commercial and military aircraft flew in formation.
