How can employers keep their travellers well informed during trips abroad about incidents or emergencies that may occur en route or at their destination? We have the solution. To support this important Duty of Care, we collaborate with several partners, and this time, we’d like to highlight one in particular: SafeToGo. The name speaks for itself.

How does it work?

SafeToGo is a system that automatically sends notifications to the traveller and/or travel manager as soon as a ticket is issued. These messages contain destination-specific information, ranging from incidents such as strikes, security threats and natural disasters to flight or gate changes. Alerts continue to be sent throughout the journey until it is completed. The system is powered by Riskline, an internationally operating provider of travel risk intelligence.

In addition to these traveller updates, companies can choose the option that gives access to a global map showing in real time (as well as retrospectively and prospectively) where all travellers are or have been, including their travel details and any current risk alerts.
