Emirates Chauffeur Service: what is it and how does it work?
Are you travelling in Business or First Class with Emirates? Then you may be entitled to a free chauffeur service to and from the airport. This is a convenient service that many business travellers are not yet aware of. In this article, we explain how it works.
What is the Emirates Chauffeur Service?
Emirates offers passengers in First Class and Business Class a complimentary chauffeur service. You will be picked up at your home or office and taken to the airport, or vice versa after arrival. The service is available in more than 70 cities worldwide, including London and Dubai.
Who is eligible?
The complimentary service is available to passengers flying in First Class or Business Class on Emirates-operated flights with a Saver, Flex or Flex Plus fare. Passengers with a Business Class Special fare (H class) are not eligible, with the exception of Skywards Platinum members. Minors travelling without a parent or guardian are excluded from this service.
How far does the driver travel?
From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, a maximum distance of 80 kilometres is free of charge. Do you live or work further away? Then you pay a surcharge of £2.50 per extra kilometre. Any additional costs for extra kilometres (this varies per destination) will be charged via an invoice sent to the email address provided in the booking. Payment is made online, directly to the service provider via a secure link in the email. Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard and American Express. It is not possible to pay the driver directly.
Travelling together? Then get extra kilometres for free
Are two or more passengers travelling in Business or First Class to or from the same address? Then they benefit from 50% extra free kilometres, even if they are on different bookings. From Schiphol, this means that the free ride amounts to no less than 120 kilometres.
How do you book the Chauffeur Service?
The service can be booked through our travel consultants or by yourself via “Manage My Booking” on emirates.com. The booking will be automatically confirmed up to 10 hours before departure.
Please note: pick-up is not possible at public locations such as train stations, cruise terminals or museums.
