High-speed wifi on board
Good news: Air France has officially launched its rollout of complimentary high-speed wifi on board its flights. The service is free in all travel classes, enabling passengers to easily send emails, stream content, make video calls, or even play online games, all from their smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Simply log in with your Flying Blue account to connect.
Not all aircraft are equipped with high-speed internet yet; currently, it’s available on five aircraft. On other flights, Flying Blue members can still access a free “messaging only” option, or choose a paid upgrade for broader connectivity.
• Multiple devices can be connected simultaneously
• Now available on aircraft including the Embraer 190, Airbus A220, and soon on long-haul flights with the A350
• Target: 30% of the fleet equipped by the end of 2025, full rollout expected by end of 2026
Air France is partnering with Starlink, SpaceX’s global satellite network known for its fast, stable, and low-latency connections, to deliver this service.
This innovation highlights Air France’s ambition to take comfort and connectivity for (business) travelers to the next level.
