LOT, the Polish airline, continues to expand towards the United States among other things. San Francisco will be the ninth American destination to be connected directly to Poland next year. The growth is possible through the addition of more Dreamliners to the fleet.

The Californian city will be added to the network on August 5, 2020 and will receive four flights per week. According to LOT chief Rafal Milczarski, the fact that Polish citizens no longer need a visa to enter the US is increasing the demand for flight connections between the two countries. “We will soon have eleven routes to the US, nine of which will be served from Poland and two from Hungary.”
With San Francisco, LOT expects to attract both tourists and business travelers who want to head to Silicon Valley.
